Government of Karnataka in association with Centralized Admission cell notify for conducting Karnataka TET 2014 examination later this year. Eligible candidates can now apply online at official site www.caconline.in or www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in.
The Karnataka board conducts this exam twice every year. Candidates seeking to apply for PRT and TGT posts in various schools of private or government category are compulsory to qualify Karnataka TET exam.
Karnataka TET Syllabus and exam pattern:
Exam pattern for KAR TET examination will be of multiple choice question answer format. Total paper will be of 150 marks with no negative marks for wrong answers. The exam is scheduled for two days and in two sessions.

First day includes Biology and Mathematics papers will be conducted in two sessions and the next day includes physics and chemistry papers will be conducted in two sessions with each paper of 60 marks and a total time duration allowed is 80 minutes.

Candidates applying for KAR TET exam 2014 must have passed Graduation in related field from a recognized university.

Age Limit:
Applicants must have maximum of 28 years age as on 1st August, 2014.

- General and OBC category candidates: For paper I or II Rs.500/- and for both the papers Rs. 800/-
- SC/ST category candidates: For paper I or II Rs. 250/- and for both the papers Rs. 400/-.

- Log on to the official website at www.caconline.in and click on apply online
- Fill in the application form with registration and login
- Fill up all personal details and generate Challan to pay examination fee at State Bank of Mysore
- After payment Upload scanned images of Photograph and Signature
- Download Confirmation page/ generated Application form and take print out of the generated page for future reference.
- Online application for KAR TET 2014 starts from: 20th April, 2014
- Closing date for submitting online form: 3rd May, 2014
- Last date for paying application fee and uploading images: 5th May, 2014
- Admit Card for KAR TET 2014 will be available: from 15th May to 25th May, 2014
- Karnataka TET exam 2014 will be held on: 1st June, 2014
