The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced that the Combined Graduate Level Examinations 2014 have been postponed. As per the schedule the CGL exams were to be held on April 27th and May 4th of this year. The upcoming general elections have pushed the exams to postpone.
Considering the further schedule of the CGL exam SSC has announced to undergo this exam later in the second half of 2014. In addition to the exam of CGL 2014, SSC has also announced to undergo re-exam for the candidates of 2013 CGL exam will also be postponed.
Recruiting service through CGL Exam 2014
The process of recruitment process will be conducted in three rounds as the first is the Tier I written exam followed by Tier II for applicants qualifying in the Tier I exam and at final step after clearing both the part the candidates has to go for tests for Computer Proficiency, Interview and skill test as preferred for the post applied.

Mr S K Ranjan the Dy. Regional Director of SSC NWR has notified a post on facebook regarding the postpone of SSC CGL 2014 Tier I Exam and the new exam dates will be notified in official website www.ssc.nic.in.
Based on the exam pattern for SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2014 will have five sections each valued to 50 marks in distinct such as General Intelligence, General Awareness, Reasoning, English Comprehension and Quantitative Aptitude and the exam mode will be offline consisting of objective type multiple choice questions.
Candidates will be notified regarding the latest schedule of the SSC CGL exam 2014, so it's advisable to keep visiting the official website of SSC to get updated of the schedule.
