Examination Pattern:
The GTET is often carried out in two papers those are GTET 1, and GTET 2. The first one is for lower primary school teachers (class 1 to 5), and the second one is for the upper primary school teachers (class 6th to 8th).
Punjab TET 2014 exam
Questions:
For the GTET 1, the examination is going to be of 150 marks for total 150 questions. The total 150 mark/150 question is comprised of 5 subjects, each of 30 marks. There are going to be 30 questions available for each subject as well. The subjects are Child Development, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental studies.
The questions are going to be objective types (MCQ) obviously.
For GTET 2, the examination is going to be in 4 subjects which carry 150 marks in total. The Child Development, Language 1, and Language 2 carry 30 marks each. Candidate has to pick any one from the set Mathematics and Science, or Social Science and Social Studies as the fourth subject which carries 60 marks. The questions are going to be of MCQ types.
Karnataka TET 2014
Pass Marks:
The regular candidates need to score at least 60 percent marks to qualify. However, exemption of 5% is given for the candidates those belong to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH).
